S Kazakhstan to invest USD 250 million into Moscow region

MOSCOW. September 17. KAZINFORM South Kazakhstan region will invest USD 250 million into establishment of the Trade Logistic Center on realization of domestic food in Moscow region.

Such an agreement was reached during a meeting of South Kazakhstan regions' delegation with the leadership of the Moscow region.

According to the Kazakh Ambassador to Russia Galym Orazbakov, the Moscow region is one of the main subjects of Russia. "We are interested in region's industry, agrarian and scientific sectors," he said

"Kazakh goods could compete in price as well in quality at the Russian market. Our businessmen are ready to invest direct funds. We are talking about nearly USD 250 million to be invested into the Trade Logistic Center establishment," head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission informed.

Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyev stressed the territory of the Moscow region is open for Kazakhstan's business and investments.

"In my opinion, investments worth USD 200 million is a serious affair. We support civilized trade which will allow to deliver goods from Kazakhstan on the nod and no chain," Mr. Vorobyev added.

According to the Deputy Governor of the South Kazakhstan Region Saparbek Tuyakbayev, the project will be realized within the signed Agreement on Cooperation between the Moscow Region Development Corporation and Social-Business Corporation Shymkent.
