Saiga antelopes continue to die off in alarming numbers in Kostanay region

KOSTANAY. KAZINFORM - An alarming increase in the number of dead saiga antelopes has been recorded in Kostanay region.

According to experts, as of today the number of dead saiga antelopes has exceeded 19,230. It is believed that pasteurellosis is causing the mass die-off in the region.
