Samruk-Kazyna Fund expects KZT1.8trln of net profit in 2024

Chairman of Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund Nurlan Zhakupov unveiled the holding’s revenues for 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports.

“This year, our assets are estimated at 38 trillion tenge. Our goal is to raise this indicator to 50 trillion tenge,” Zhakupov said.

He denied information on the decline in the holding's revenues in 2024.

“This year, our revenues made 17 trillion tenge. This is 10% less compared to the last year. This year was difficult, oil prices dropped, the geopolitical situation turned out to be uneasy. Despite these factors, according to our forecasts, this year, net profit is expected to make 1.8 trillion tenge, which is higher than the last year’s indicator,” Zhakupov added.

In November 2024, during the visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Nurlan Zhakupov held a number of meetings with the representatives of the leading Hungarian companies and state organizations to discuss opportunities for enhancing cooperation.
