Samruk Kazyna invites tenders to design Green Quarter project concept
Within the frame of a meeting held on the 23th of January, 2013 concerning year totals for 2012 and implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 strategy the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan instructed JSC SWF «Samruk-Kazyna» to implement a project of construction of the Green Quarter in Astana.
According to the instruction of JSC NWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC Real Estate Fund Samruk-Kazyna has been determined as an operator of the program on realization of this project.
For the purposes of proper and well-timed performance JSC Samruk Kazyna Real Estate Fund invites international tenders for building up conceptions of urban development of territories on the Green Quarter project that contains a conceptual master plan, mockups, drawings and a preliminary feasibility study.
The aim of the tenders is defining concepts of the Green Quarter, search for up-to-date, original, most interesting ideas and solutions of design and construction, which are implemented in working out a sketch plan, an architectural design and a building project of the complex.
The tender is held from 25 February to 5 April of 2013. For the tender the following participants are invited: legal units and individual persons, residents and non-residents, designers and development teams, design organizations, architects and planners.
In the process of weighting the projects, the following aspects will be considered: providing the overall land improvement, including outdoor lighting by means of alternative energy sources, gardening by trees and ornamental shrubs, carpet bedding and grass-plotting, arrangement of holiday resorts, children's playgrounds, places for active recreation within the projected territory.
When deciding the winner, application of technologies ensuring the project's compliance with international environmental design standards (LEED, BREEAM, DGNB).
It should be noted that construction of residential and office buildings, park areas, retail entertainment and social-and-recreational buildings will be carried out as a part of complex being a comfortable living environment for metropolitans, applying international practices in innovative technologies, environmentally responsible construction and renewable power sources.
