SamrukKazyna Real Estate Fund held conference on coop with domestic producers

sp;ASTANA.  November 13. KAZINFORM  /Kanat Kulshmanov/ On Friday SamrukKazyna Real Estate Fund JSC has held a conference on the results of work with the domestic producers and developer-companies. Chairman of the Fund Aisultan Akchurin informed the conference participants of the results of the Fund's activity as of November 1, 2009.

Thus over the period from January to September 2009 the Fund maintained up to 120 domestic companies participating in supply and production of construction materials and entered into 24 memorandums of cooperation with the largest ones. There were concluded agreements to the sum of KZT 7.2 bln on supply of construction materials.

"We will continue work on conclusion of memorandums and contracts in 2009-2010. This format is open for all Kazakhstani producers and we are ready for cooperation. In accordance with an analysis, as of May 1, 2009 the share of imported products was 52% while to date the share of domestic products rose up to 70%. This is a positive index", A. Akchurin said.

Alongside he noted that in spite of completion of the projects the share of imported products would grow and the Fund planned  to keep Kazakhstan content at 65%.

"The first stage of our activity has been passed. We have found mutually beneficial mechanisms of cooperation of domestic producers with the developer companies", A. Akchurin resumed.
