Sanctions of Russia and the West worsen situation in global economy – Nursultan Nazarbayev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Mutual sanctions of Russia and the West worsen the situation in the global economy, said the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

"The most effective way to ensure safety in the world is close economic cooperation between states. Today, mutual economic sanctions of the West and Russia certainly exacerbate the difficult situation in the global economy. Kazakhstan, as a member of the international community, is not an exception," said the Head of State at a meeting with the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to his words, it is important that the adopted in Minsk on February 12 declaration of commitment is to provide a common economic space from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
