Saudabayev met with Macedonian, Slovenian, Thai, Czech FMs

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM Issues of extension of cooperation in political, trade and economic spheres were discussed at meetings of Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev with his colleagues from Macedonia, Slovenia, Thailand and Czech Republic held within the working visit of the Kazakh Minister to Geneva, the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.

Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki highly appraised the results of the Kazakhstan's OSCE presidency and the Astana Summit of the Organization, in which the Macedonian President took part.

Antonio Milososki said that the Head of his State intended to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan. In this regard, the interlocutors discussed the agenda of the visit, including preparation of the basic documents on trade and economic cooperation.

K.Saudabayev also met with Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar. The sides emphasized the importance of the last-year visit of Slovenian President Danilo Türk to Kazakhstan and discussed opportunities for developing the high-level contacts. The interlocutors also discussed the cooperation of the two states within the UN.

At the meeting with Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, the sides addressed topical issues of extending political and economic interaction, expanding the diplomatic presence of Thailand in Kazakhstan as well as interaction of the two states within the CICA and UN.

Prospects for bilateral cooperation development were discussed at the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg.
