Saudabayev to pay official visit to Russia

ASTANA.  November 16. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev is to make an official visit to Russia at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Kazinform reports.

"Topical issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian development of both countries will be discussed at the meeting", Yerzhan Ashikbayev, Official Spokesperson of the Kazakhstan Foreign Office said at a briefing today.

According to him, the parties will focus on bilateral interaction within international organizations and associations and will exchange views on a number of regional issues.

K. Saudabayev is also expected to give a lecture at the Moscow State Lomonosov University on the theme "Kazakhstan in modern world". Deputies of the Federal Assembly and State Duma of Russia, representatives of scientific circles and mass media will attend it.
