Scheme of Rental Housing Fund establishment presented in Almaty

ALMATY. February 27. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Akim of Almaty city Akhmetzhan Yessimov, heads of ?SamrukKazyna? and ?Damu? Funds, chairmen of the banks and construction companies have attended a sitting to discuss joint actions in three dimensions – construction, mortgage landing and small and medium businesses, Kazinform reports.

The sitting participants were presented a scheme of establishment of a Rental Housing Fund proposed by ?SamrkuKazyna? with the aim of ensuring stabilization of the real estate market in Astana and Almaty cities. The Fund will complete construction of houses in Astana and Almaty through acquisition of flats in them for their further leasing with a right of redemption. For realization of the tasks capitalization and funding to the amount of KZT 150 bln is needed. Rental payments are expected to make about KZT 1 000 per sq m.
