School in Astana evacuated after fire alarm

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Students and teachers of secondary school №25 in Astana were evacuated Tuesday morning due to a fire on the first floor, Kazinform has learnt from the Ministry of Emergencies.

600 people, including 560 children, left the building when the fire alarm started. Officials say the fire appeared to have started in the switchboard room. The fire was extinguished by the emergency crew summoned to the scene. No injuries were reported.
