The seminar summed up intermediary results of the work done and defined prospects of further development and improvement of the activity of the Association.
It is noteworthy to say that the main regional peculiarities of the SCO countries are comparatively high level of cultural diversification, difference in history and culture of the states, different economic potential and development level. However all IBA participants lay great emphasis on common approaches and views as well as on existing advantages not on differences.
According to Kelimbetov, adoption of an Action Program by the IBA on support of the regional economic cooperation within the SCO as well conclusion of agreements on providing credit lines and joint financing of investment projects is a notable fact.
"I am confident that the steps developed within the IBA and agreements being elaborated now will lead us to real results in trade-economic sphere, sustainable growth of the SCO member countries' well-being. For this we need to use such our advantages as vast joint economic space, rich natural and human resources, complementarity of our economies, high educational and scientific-technical potential of our countries", he noted.
