SCO leaders sign Bishkek Declaration in Kyrgyz capital

The Bishkek Declaration reflects the SCO member states' commitment to interact on the basis of principles and provisions of the SCO Charter and other key instruments of the organization. The signatories of the declaration note that the Treaty on the long-term good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation of the SCO member countries has become a solid legal platform ensuring durable peace and mutual prosperity on the territory of the SCO.
The document also pays utmost attention to the modern challenges. The SCO member countries call for construction of the independent, peaceful, prosperous, terror and crime-free Afghanistan.
The SCO member states are deeply concerned with the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, and especially in Syria, and advocate for peace, stability, prosperity and progress in the region without any military strikes from outside unsanctioned by the UN Security Council.
