SCO ministerial meeting in Astana to promote interaction between militaries - Sec-Gen Imanaliyev

ASTANA. March 17. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Successful holding of the meeting of SCO defense ministers in Astana is an evidence of further strengthening of cooperation between the militaries of the organization's member states. SCO secretary General Muratbek Imanaliyev said it at a briefing in Astana on Thursday.

"It is well known that security in the area of our Organization is one of the priorities of the SCO. And today's successful meeting of ministers of defense is another vivid evidence of further strengthening of cooperation between the militaries of SCO countries", he noted.

The Secretary General congratulated the participants on successful completion of the session and wished success in further activity.
