SCO Sec-Gen issued statement on Japan disaster

BEIJING. March 16. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ In connection with the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan that resulted in disastrous consequences, numerous casualties and considerable material damage, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization expresses its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of those killed and injured.

SCO member states expressing solidarity with the people and government of Japan will continue to assist the Japanese side to overcome difficulties and mitigate consequences of the disaster, the statement by SCO Secretary-General Muratbek Imanaliyev reads.
