SCO Summit to be crowned with signing of Bishkek Declaration
MOSCOW. September 12. KAZINFORM The Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will be crowned with the signing of the Bishkek Declaration.

According to Russia's presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, the SCO Summit in Bishkek on September 13 will be followed by the signing of the Bishkek Declaration by the SCO member states' leaders. The declaration will affirm the commitment of the SCO member states to deepen all-round socioeconomic and humanitarian cooperation.
During tomorrow's SCO Summit Tajikistan will take over the presidency of the organization.
NOTE: Established in 2001, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization unites Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Mongolia, India, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan hold the observer status in the organization. Belarus, Sri Lanka and Turkey were granted dialogue partner status in the SCO.
