SEC ?Saryarka? intends to implement project on production of dry gluten

ASTANA. January, 22. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Social Entrepreneurship Corporation ?Saryarka? intends to implement an export oriented project on production of dry gluten. Chairman of the Corporation Vadim Zverkov has informed about it at the session of ?SamrukKazyna? Fund; Kazinform correspondent reports.

According to him, additive of dry gluten into starchy foods within 2 per cent out of weight of flour is a standard and essential requirement in EU countries. Global output of gluten amount to 4 mln tons per year including 400 thousand tons in EU countries. ?According to our analysis the project is very promising even in the face of financial crisis. Two companies in Kazakhstan deal with gluten production at present. If we create more enterprises we will be able to enter the ten leading countries?, V. Zverkov said. The total project investment is USD 92 mln. V. Zverkov does not exclude that the costs in particular, for the purchase of equipment can be reduced because of the financial crisis. Profitability of the project is 46%, payback period - 4 years.
