Senate adopts amendments to Law "On pension provision in Kazakhstan"

ASTANA. November 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Senate has adopted the Law "On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On pension provision in the Republic of Kazakhstan" at a plenary session.

"The draft Law was developed with a purpose to implement the President's instructions given in the Address to the Nation. The Address provides increase of average pension by 2012. In this connection, pensions were increased by 25 percent in 2009, by 25 percent - in 2010, and will be increased by 30 percent from January 1, 2011", Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection Gulshara Abdykalikova said introducing the bill.
