Senate approves bill on traumatic weapons removal from civilian circulation
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The plenary session of the Senate has approved the first reading of the draft law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on activity of internal affairs bodies".
The bill provides traumatic weapons removal from civilian circulation and securing the right to acquire such weapons by law enforcement agencies. In addition, the amendments regulate a number of issues related to expanded benefit payment to personnel with state awards and provide off-turn placements in secondary and preschools for children of employees died or became disabled while on duty.
