Senate ratified Agreement on special safeguard, anti-dumping and countervailing measures

ASTANA. February 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament adopted the Law ?On ratification of the Agreement on application of special safeguard, anti-dumping and countervailing measures to third parties?, Kazinform reports.

The main purpose of the Agreement, signed on January 25, 2008 in Moscow, is the formation of contractual basis of the Customs union of the Eurasian Economic Community. The Agreement determines the relationships, arising due to increased dumping and subsidized import of goods, coming from the territories of the third parties and meant for customs territories of the customs union member states ? Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
