Senate ratified agreement with Tajikistan on cooperation in civil defense sphere

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - At the plenary session of the Senate of the parliament of Kazakhstan, the law "On ratification of the agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Tajikistan on cooperation in the sphere of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations" was adopted.

"The agreement was signed within the 7 th sitting of the Coordination Council in Almaty on September 6, 2014. The increasing threat of emergency situations and the growth of their number worldwide including the Central Asian region require joint efforts for preventing and liquidating the emergencies and their consequences," Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Kalmukhanbet Kassymov said presenting the draft law.
