Senate ratified amendments to Collective Security Treaty
ASTANA. November 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Senate has adopted the Law "On ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the Collective Security Treaty as of May 15, 1992" at a plenary session.
As Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Amangeldy Zhumabayev informed, according to the Protocol, in the case of a threat to security, stability, territorial integrity and sovereignty of one or more States Parties, or a threat to international peace and security, States Parties shall immediately set in motion the mechanisms of joint consultations to coordinate their positions, develop and adopt measures to help. If one of the participating countries will undergo aggression, it will be considered as an aggression on all States Parties to the Treaty.
