Senate ratified amendments to CSTO Charter

ASTANA. November 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Senate has adopted the Law "On ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the Charter of the Collective Security Treaty Organization as of October 7, 2002" at a plenary session.

Introducing the bill, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Amangeldy Zhumabayev noted that the Protocol provides clarification of the CSTO activities, modernization of its organizational structure as well as definition of financing of the working bodies of the Organization.
