Senate ratified amendments to Kazakh-US agr't on rail transit of special cargo via Kazakhstan

TANA. November 3. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament adopted the law "On ratification of the protocol on amendments to the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and the U.S. on ensuring commercial rail transit of special cargo via Kazakhstan in connection with participation of the United States of America in efforts to stabilize the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as of 20 June 2010" at a Thursday plenary sitting.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Konstantin Zhigalov noted that the agreement contributes to global efforts to stabilize Afghanistan.
