Senate ratified readmission agreement with Hungary
"The agreement was signed in Budapest on June 3, 2014. The document was signed by the ministers of foreign affairs of the two countries. Entering into force of the agreement is the main condition for ensuring visa-free regime between the two countries. The document provides for detection of people who violated admission rules or the rules or laws within the country, and the mechanism of a return of these people was also determined. The points of readmission are airports of Astana and Almaty. The internal affairs bodies of Kazakhstan and Hungary were chosen as the competent bodies for implementation of the readmission agreement," Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Demeuov said presenting the draft law. According to him, ratification of the agreement will allow to fight illegal migration, simplify admission and transit of people illegally staying in the country in accordance with the international norms.
