Senate ratified UNESCO Convention on prevening cultural values illicit import

ASTANA. November 24. KAZINFORM/Muratbek Makubekov/ Senate of the Kazakh Parliament at today's plenary session has adopted the law "On ratification of the Convention on means of prohibiting and preventing the illicit import, export and transfer of ownership of cultural property".

Representing the draft law Kazakh Culture Minister Mukhtar Kul Muhhamed said, the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, meeting in Paris from 12 October to 14 November 1970, at its sixteenth session adopted this Convention on the fourteenth day of November 1970.
