Senate ratifies Amendments On preferential supplies of special machinery between CSTO states

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The plenary session of the Senate has approved the draft law "On ratification of the Protocol amending the Agreement on concessional supply of special machinery and equipment for law enforcement agencies and special services of the member-states of the CSTO as of October 6, 2007".

Minister of Internal Affairs Kalmukhanbet Kassymov presenting the bill said that the Protocol has been ratified by all the other member states of the CSTO. The Agreement regulates preferential supplies of special machinery between public bodies or legal persons of the parties (CSTO member-states). The Protocol allows the introduction of amendments to the agreement aimed at expanding forms of payment when making supplies of special machinery and equipment.
