Senate Speaker, Belarus Ambassador discussed cooperation development
ASTANA. March 18. KAZINFORM Senate Speaker Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Ambassador of Belarus to Kazakhstan Valery Brylev on Friday; the Upper House's press service told Kazinform.
The parties exchanged opinions on the issues of enhancement of bilateral relations. They noted the dynamic development of Kazakh-Belarusian interaction.
"Kazakhstan considers Belarus as one of the key states in the post-soviet space", K. Tokayev emphasized. He said that the two states had good prospects of cooperation development within the framework of the Customs Union and Single Economic Space.
V. Brylev congratulated K. Tokayev on his appointment as Director of the UN Office at Geneva.
