Senate Speaker K.Mami: Declaration of 20th anniversary of independence - declaration of succeeded statehood

ASTANA. December 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Declaration of the 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan, which was adopted by the Senate, is a declaration of the succeeded statehood. Chairman of the Kazakh Senate Kairat Mami has said at a plenary session after the document adoption.

"We should be proud of the fact that we are not only witnesses of the historical events of our country over 20 years, but their participants as well. In this connection the idea on adoption of the document, which will define achievements of the country over 20 years - the Declaration of the 20^th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan, appeared," K.Mami said.

"This unique document demonstrates invaluable role of First President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Kazakh statehood construction."

The main core of the Declaration is major achievements of Kazakhstan over the years of independence, role and significance of the Constitution," the Senate Chairman noted.

"The Declaration adopted today is stages of the history of independence, contribution of today's generation and heritage for the next generations. I congratulate you on this historic document adoption," the Speaker said.
