ASTANA. February 5. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament - Head of Secretariat of the Congress of World and Traditional Religions' Leaders Kairat Mami has left for a three-day working visit to the State of Vatican City.

Mami is expected to have an audience with Pope Benedict XVI, meet with the papal envoy, Dean of the College of Cardinals, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, Secretary for Relations with States of the Secretariat of State of Vatican.

The visit is held within the framework of the 10th anniversary of the Congress of World and Traditional Religions' Leaders, and aimed at strengthening relations between Vatican and Kazakhstan, promoting the Kazakh President's initiatives in the field of security, stability and peace.
