Senate Speaker Tokayev: Peaceful foreign policy of Kazakhstan is a major contribution to international security

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - Peaceful, constructive foreign policy of Kazakhstan, as well as internal stability based on sustainable economic development make significant contribution to international security, this has been stated by Speaker of the Senate Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev during a meeting with the teaching staff and students of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It should be noted that the meeting is a part of his two-day official visit to Moscow. Mr.Tokayev said that Kazakhstan in a short historical period has managed to solve a number of strategic objectives. First of all, there was achieved international recognition of Kazakhstan as a reliable partner. Speaker of the Senate also noted that "Kazakhstan has declared its commitment to non-proliferation regime and is now regarded as the leader of the global movement for nuclear disarmament".
