Senate to debate bills on awarding Kazakh President Khalyk Kakharmany title

TANA. November 30. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ At today's enlarged meeting the Socio-cultural Development Committee of the Kazakh Senate debated the draft laws "On amendments to the Constitutional Law of Kazakhstan "On the First President of Kazakhstan-Leader of the Nation" and "On amendments to the Law of Kazakhstan "On state awards of Kazakhstan".

Representing the draft laws Vice Minister of Justice Dulat Kustavletov noted that the year when we mark the 20^th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence we should also recognize the merits of President Nursultan Nazarbayev for the country's achievements over the past years.

Upon completion of discussions the committee decided to submit draft laws to the Senate giving recommendations to to have the bills adopted.
