Senators made amendments into draft law on status and social protection of military

ASTANA. January 8. KAZINFORM. Today the Senate Committee on international relations, defense and security has considered the draft Law ?On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ?On status and social protection of military men and their family?. The document is developed in accordance with the Head of the State?s commission on social and material support of the military. The draft law presupposes providing the military, who have served not less than 8 years, the right to reimburse expenses on studying at the universities of the country for a fee of 50% of the value of learning from the national budget. Approved by Mazhilis, amendments to the document were inserted into the draft law during the Senate?s session. In addition, the amendments of the editorial and clarifying character including those connected with the rules of legal drafting methodology were inserted into the draft law.
