Senators to consider amendments to gambling legislation
Committee on international relations, defense and security was defined responsible for further development and preparation of conclusions to the following bills: ratification of the agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and China on cooperation in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations; ratification of the agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan on cooperation in civil defense, emergency prevention and control; ratification of the protocol on amendments and additions to the protocol of the agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on the crossing points of the Kazakh-Uzbek border as of September 4, 2006. 2 April Senate's session will consider the bills on ratification of the agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Belarus on readmission and the executive protocol of the document; "On ratification of the agreement between Kazakhstan and Hungary on transfer of sentenced persons"; "On ratification of the extradition treaty between Kazakhstan and Hungary"; ratification of the agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income; "On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on gambling" (first reading).
