Serik Akhmetov receives Malaysian Minister Mahmoud Abdullah Taiba

ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM - Today in Ukimet Uiy Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has received the Chief Minister of the Malaysian state of Sarawak Abdul Mahmoud Taiba, according to primeminister.kz. website.

The meeting discussed issues of trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian collaboration. In particular, the sides noted the prospects of mutual activity for implementation of infrastructure projects, power and petrochemical industries, information and communication sector, agriculture and tourism.

At the beginning of next year a business delegation of Sarawak is expected to pay a visit to Kazakhstan, during which it is planned to consider plans for a joint production.
