Session of EurAsEC Interstate Council to boost potential of member states' development - Kazakh PM

KAZINFORM. /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The decisions made at today's sitting of the EurAsEC Interstate Council regarding further development of single economic space will allow to enhance development potential in our countries. Kazakh Premier Karim Massimov has said it after the sitting in a narrow format in Saint Petersburg today.

According to him, after the previous sitting of the EurAsEC Prime Ministers' Council that was held about a half-year ago the trilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus acquired a qualitatively new status that will enable the states to boost economic opportunities of all Community's member countries.

As Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin noted, the sides held a series of meetings aimed at deepening integration processes within the framework of EurAsEC. "We discussed definite steps necessary for launch of the Customs Union and made a number of decisions concerning functioning of our economies on a fundamentally new basis", he said.
