Severe frost expected in 4 regions of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - On February 25 a big part of Kazakhstan will be under the influence of an anticyclone which is expected to bring freezing weather and somewhere rain, the press service of the Emergency Ministry informs.

According to "Kazhydromet" unstable weather will be in the north and north-west of the country.

Blizzard and strong winds (15-20 m / s) are expected in Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions.

In Kostanay region snowstorm is expected in the second half of the day, wind will increase to 15-20 m / s.

Kyzylorda, Mangistau and Atyrau regions will have strong winds (15-20 m / s).

Almaty region expects heavy frost. In South Kazakhstan region as well as in the far north the outside temperature will decrease, heavy frost is expected. Severe frost is also expected in Zhambyl and Karaganda regions.
