Severe weather caused power outages in Atyrau

Severe weather conditions caused power outages in the city of  Atyrau and Atyrau region on December 14, Kazinform News Agency reports.

As of 10:00 a.m. Makhambet, Inder, and Kyzylkoginskiy districts and several districts of the city of Atyrau were left without electricity as the region plunged into freeze.

According to Atyrau Zharyk LLP, electricity consumption rose in Atytau region as air temperature declined leading to power shortages.

As of 01:00 p.m., electricity supplies were fully restored in the city and the region at large.
