Shanghai hosted reception dedicated to Kazakhstan's Independence Day
GUANGZHOU. December 13. KAZINFORM An official reception devoted to Kazakhstan's Independence Day was held in Shanghai. Representatives of local government, business, academic, public sector and the media, the foreign diplomatic corps in Shanghai, the Kazakh Diaspora, as well as Kazakhstanis working and studying in Shanghai took part in the event.

Consul General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai Gabit Koishibayev noted the 20th anniversary of Kazakh-Chinese diplomatic relations establishment and expressed confidence in further successful development of the Kazakh-Chinese relations have evolved over the years to the level of all-round strategic partnership.
The same day, G. Koishibayev met with Vice Mayor of Shanghai Ai Baojun, who also took part in the official reception on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The parties discussed the state of the Kazakh-Chinese relations and the prospects for cooperation in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
