Shelter guardian in Almaty region found guilty of an administrative offense

TALDYKORGAN . November 20. KAZINFORM - The Almaty oblast court has taken a decision with respect to the orphanage guardian at a charity fund named "Radonezh" Petr Evtiheev, known as Father Sophronii, who was found guilty of an administrative offense.

There were several complaints against Father Sophronii submitted to the Ili district police. According to those applications Mr.Evtiheev was suspected of causing bodily injury of one of the girls in the orphanage.

For the first court hearing Evtiheev did not appear, so there was issued a ruling on his compulsory coming. When the judicial custodian came up for Evtiheev an incident took place, which was resolved by Evtiheev's lawyer, who arrived at the scene.

Today by a specialized inter-district court in Karasai Father Sophronii has been assigned an administrative penalty of a fine of 50 MCI (monthly calculated index).
