Miss Nicaragua wins 2023 Miss Universe beauty pageant

Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua was crowned the 2023 Miss Universe at the 72nd annual beauty pageant held on Saturday night in Salvador, Kazinform News Agency reports citing TASS.

The event was broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of the beauty contest.

27-year-old Anntonia Porsild of Thailand was named the runner-up.

Miss Universe is the annual international beauty pageant, one of the most prestigious contests in the world.

This year, the event brought together the representatives of more than 80 countries.
