Showers to douse Kazakhstan on Sunday

Slow-moving southern cyclone will reportedly persist over the territory of Kazakhstan on July 21 bringing inclement weather conditions to most of the country. Showers with thunderstorms, hail and bleak wind are forecast for parts of the country, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Kazhydromet.

The national weather agency said in a statement that heavy downpour will douse the north, southeast, and east of Kazakhstan. Northern and central Kazakhstan will be steeped in fog at night and early in the morning.

Fervent heat is in store in Atyrau, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan and south of Aktobe regions.

High fire hazard is predicted to stay in Atyrau, west, north and south of West Kazakhstan, west and southeast of Zhambyl, southwest of Aktobe, southeast of East Kazakhstan, east of Pavlodar and west of Ulytau regions.

Extreme fire hazard is expected in Mangistau, south, east and northwest of Atyrau, south of Kostanay, south and deserted areas of Turkistan, center and south of Kyzylorda, parts of West Kazakhstan regions.
