Shukeyev visits rural facilities in South Kazakhstan

SHYMKENT. March 20. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev visited several facilities in Maktaaral district of South Kazakhstan region.

During his working trip to South Kazakhstan region U.Shukeyev visited ?Myrzashol? Maintenance and Procurement Center. It was established by ?Ontustik? Socio-Business Corporation in spring last year as part of the agro industry development program. Similar centers will be created in every district of Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and South Kazakhstan regions. Today 17 centers are being operated. The center is ready to provide services to 626 small enterprises of the district, specialized in the cultivation of berries, fruits and vegetables. It also provides support for sowing and harvesting and ensures storage, processing and transportation. The Vice PM inquired about the profitability of the cooperation with the center and was told that the prices were quite reasonable for farmers. "Most equipment we possess is worn-out. The center provides perfect equipment which performs any kind of operations. We have concluded an agreement and more than thousand of hectares have been plowed up", said manager of Maktaaral 2080 rural entity Zhussip Tanabayev.
