Shvedova and Diyas defeated Chinese tennis players at Fed Cup

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today, the Kazakhstan national team played its first matches at the Fed Cup against Chinese players and the team from Kazakhstan celebrated its first victory with the score 2:1.

As the press service of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation informs, Yaroslava Shvedova defeated her opponent from China in three sets - 4:6, 6:4, 6:3. Later in the day, Zarina Diyas breazed past another opponent from China with the score 7:5, 6:0. Thus, it ensured the victory of Kazakhstan as a team ahead of schedule and despite the result of the third match. The third match where Kamila Kerimbayeva and Yuliya Putintseva played against Chinese pair ended with the score 1:6, 5:7 in favor of Chinse players.
