Shvedova, Garrigues brushed aside in women's doubles in Rome
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Czech Květa Peschke and Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik beat Anabel Medina-Garrigues from Spain and Yaroslava Shvedova from Kazakhstan in straight sets at the Iternazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome, Kazinform refers to Sports.kz.

Peschke and Srebotnik fought their way past the Spanish-Kazakh duo 7:6, 6:4 in the semifinal of the tournament. They needed one hour and forty minutes to get past Shvedova and Garrigues, who fired down three aces to the Czech-Slovenian's one.
