Shymkent holds business projects fair

SHYMKENT. April 13. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ Representatives of financial institutions and second-tier banks have taken part in a fair of business projects in Shymkent; Kazinform reports.

Those entrepreneurs who have real proposals on new projects or expansion of operating businesses had a chance to discuss the financing issues. Representatives of 10 second-tier banks, Ontustik SEC, Damu Fund, Maximum Regional Investment Center estimated the potential of the businessmen. Bankers and development institutions are also interested in investing into promising ideas. Second-tier banks jointly with Damu Fund financed about 240 projects to the amount of KZT 7 bln. Now the entrepreneurs utilize KZT 645 mnl within nine projects. ?This fair is supposed to promote the activity of enterprises?, Deputy Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry of South Kazakhstan oblast Roza Nazabekova said.
