Single National Pension Fund to be based on the existing one

ASTANA. March 19. KAZINFORM The Single National Pension Fund is to be created on the basis of the State Pension Savings Fund.

It was announced during an online conference in Almaty on Tuesday.

"The establishment of the Single National Pension Fund entails amendments to at least eight codes and 22 laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan that should be passed by late June 2013. All pension savings and assets are to be consolidated within the new fund by 1 July 2013," Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan told the online conference.
