ASTANA. December 29. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ The situation on maternal and infant mortality stabilized in Kazakhstan.

Minister of healthcare Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev has announced it at the press conference on results of the Ministry's activity over 2009 on Tuesday, December 29.
According to him, Kazakhstan stabilized and reduced maternal and infant mortality and the number of deaths among premature infants.
Besides, the situation on tuberculosis stabilized as well. According to Z.Doskaliyev, there is stable decrease of morbidity and mortality from tuberculosis and cardiovascular diseases.
