Six cars and minibus buried under avalanche in Kyrgyzstan
Sis cars and a minibus were trapped overnight on the Too-Ashuu pass as two avalanches fell on the 132nd km of the Bishkek-Osh highway in Kyrgyzstan, a Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
According to the Emergencies Ministry, one of the cars was buried with four people inside. The rescuers dug out the car and helped pull out an unconscious woman who was rushed to the nearby hospital.
The restrictions were lifted at 10:10 pm local time as the road was cleaned up.
As earlier reported, on January 3 an avalanche came down in East Kazakhstan region. No injuries were reported.
