Six Kazakhstani peacekeepers leave for Lebanon

 Kazakhstan has sent six peacekeepers to Lebanon as part of the six-month rotation of its UN peacekeeping troops serving within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Kazinform Agency has learnt from the Defense Ministry of the country.

All of the six peacekeepers underwent through a rigorous selection process, with their professional qualities, moral and psychological status, physical fitness, and knowledge of the foreign language being tested.

The peacekeepers are to join the Indian peacekeeping battalion, which repeatedly hailed the professionalism of Kazakhstani troops, for the next six months.

It is worth noting that Kazakhstani peacekeepers take part in peacekeeping missions around the world, including in Lebanon.
