Small Earth-imaging satellites launched from ISS
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A fleet of six small Earth-imaging satellites was deployed into orbit from the International Space Station's Kibo module on February 11-12.

The group of satellites called Flock are operated by Planet Labs from San Francisco. The small satellites, 3 kg each, will help capture images of Earth.
The satellites were delivered to the International Space Station via Cygnus cargo mission in January 2014.
